Work that's in line with our values - Paudash Lake Conservation Association's newsletter
One of the things we're most grateful for over here at WordBird Media is having the ability to work on projects that are in line with our values, and make a difference to our community and planet. It's immensely satisfying.
One of the things we're most dedicated to is the environment. Our Creative Director, Michelle, often writes magazine features about environmental issues like seed saving, supporting bee populations, off-grid-living, etc.
In 2014 we started producing a series of videos about a new sustainable building that supports youth and the environment. The project is set to continue into 2015, with two more videos scheduled to be shot, and we couldn't be happier.
And now we've taken on a new project that we feel great about - compiling and editing the semi-annual newsletter for the Paudash Lake Conservation Association. We love Paudash Lake! We love the clean water, sandy beach, pretty islands, cottage community, and the wildlife. One of the perks of living and working in North Hastings is evenings spent relaxing at the lake, watching the sunset, and listening to the loons.
We're pretty excited about the articles that have been trickling in, and are set to begin layout next week. Members can expect their winter issue in Mid-February. And if you'd like a copy but you're not yet a member of the PLCA, you can join online here.
We'll also be unveiling a new website for the PLCA over the next couple weeks, so stay tuned for that.
Thanks to the PLCA for bringing us on board and giving us the opportunity to contribute to your awesome mandate!
